Description

The E2508 Red Insulated Cord End Terminal Lugs are made from high conductivity copper and feature a nylon 66 insulation. They are RoHS compliant and suitable for tri-rated cables. The lugs have a temperature range of -40˚C to +105˚C.

They are ideal for reinforcing fine wire strands when terminating a cable into a connector block. A special type of crimping pliers is used for this.

How to Use: The lugs are used by stripping a wire or cable to the same length as the terminal and pushing it into the correct size ferrule through the collar. A suitable size cable crimping tool is then used to crimp the metal tube to the wire.
